T-Cobb's Pre-Game Thoughts
- Head coach Joe Dibble and his Springfield Jr. Blues have been on a slide as of late --and tonight's matchup against the RoadRunners doesn't make things any easier. The Jr. Blues have lost four of there previous five heading into the game, and of the four losses, two came to the hands of Topeka just two weekends ago at the Nelson Center in Springfield.
- Scott Langer has his RoadRunners off to a fine start in Topeka this season, as they are currently in third in a very tough South division. Entering tonight's game, Topeka has the confidence from the two-game sweep just two weekends ago, mixed in with the fact that Springfield is on a slide.
- The Jr. Blues enter as the leagues' ninth best team on the powerplay with 19 percent. As for the penalty kill, the team is fifthteenth overall with 82.7 percent.
- The RoadRunners are seventeenth in the league on the powerplay with 17.4 percent. And they are at twenty-first in the league on the penalty kill with 80 percent.
- The Jr. Blues have been on a major slide lately, but things as we know can change quickly. It won't be easy considering the RoadRunners have been very solid at home thus far (although it's only played six games there). It will be an interesting matchup to say the least.
T-Cobb's Prediction:
Springfield Jr. Blues 4, Topeka RoadRunners 2
