Do YOU bleed blue? Well, if you answered yes to the question, then this is the spot for you! Welcome aboard to an unofficial blog of the NAHL's Springfield Jr. Blues' hockey team! This blog will hopefully become your main source for the Jr. Blues, and I most definetely look forward to being your main source for anything and everything on this season's team.
The team is of course based in Springfield, Illinois, and is a pretty big commodity to the state's capital.
The name is Tyler Cobb, aka T-Cobb, as if you couldn't already tell that by now. I have basically lived in Springfield for my entire life--but I will say that my heart is indeed in St. Louis. I am twenty-one years young, and a very determined sports writer looking to make it big. My dream since I was a little toddler has been to be a big time sports broadcaster--or writer. Whether it be on the TV, the radio, a local newpaper, or well, just anywhere where my opinion can be heard.
I have a big-time, big-head when it comes to anything about sports. Unless I am proven wrong and it's shown to be on paper, or I witness it, I have my own opinion (or facts), and believe in everything that I very well say. I have been a huge sports fan since I was around seven or eight, and ever since then, they have been my entire life--which is what has led my dream to becoming a very good, and achieving writer.
This is my first actual local blog, but I have done plenty of sports writing in my days. I will soon be attending LLCC down here in Springfield and this blog will hopefully be my "hitch" to getting some exposure of my work. My dream college is most definetely the University of Missouri, which is where I am hoping, and dreaming to attend following LLCC for two years -- but Bradley or Northwestern are two schools I wouldn't mind attending either.
In this blog I will be writing everything that you need to know about the team. I won't be attending road games, but will be at all of the home games for the team. I will be writing game previews, game recaps, my own player and team analysts, and much, much more. I love getting responses on my writing so if you feel any want to critisize, please feel free to. I will always respond back, and I most certainly love feed back from my readers. I also plan to do some video-interviews at home games with some of the players and the coaches from time to time for this blog. If you have any questions, comments, requests, or just simply want to chat it up, hit me up on my email at tcobb_jrblues@yahoo.com , or just drop me a comment.
Thanks for all of the support. This has always been my dream, and I am finally starting to do something about it at this exact instant. If you are a fan of the Jr. Blues, do me a favor and book mark this website -- because I will be doing all that I can to make this the number one source for Jr. Blues hockey. Once again, thank you all for the support, and let me hear it one time..."LETS GO BLUES! LETS GO BLUES! LETS GO BLUES!".
