T-Cobb's Weekend Preview Thoughts:
This weekend the Junior Blues bring into town the MidWest's last-place team in the division, the Chicago Hitmen. Although the Jr. Blues have struggled at home and own an overall record of 4-8-1 inside the Nelson Center, they should have a lot of scoring chances against a team that has allowed the most goals in the NAHL with 116 total. Chicago has the second-worst record in the league, behind only Minot, who has nine points total. The "Big Three" for Springfield of Cook, Sitler, and Pontasch need to cash in some goals during this three game home series. Also, the Jr. Blues need some quality starts from the likes of Tyler Parks and Connor Girard behind the net. The Jr. Blues have allowed 87 goals while only scoring 73 but have been trying to get hot lately. If there is one thing I am most certainly looking forward to seeing the Jr. Blues achieve, it is consistensy. This team has struggled to do so all season long and with a three game home stand against the last place team, work needs to get done.
